Entry Fees

  • Boys Under 8 & 10 Events – Rs 300
  • Boys Under 12, 14, 16 & 18 Events – Rs 400
  • Mens, Womens, Veterans & Any other Senior Events – Rs 500
  • State Championship (Junior) – Rs 500
  • State Championship (Senior) – Rs 600

    Boys Under 10

  • Till Quarters – Best of 13 Games
  • Semi Finals & Final – Best of 3 Short Sets

Boys Under 12

  • Till Round of 32 – Best of 13 Games
  • Till Quarters – Best of 15 Games
  • Semi Finals – Best of 3 Short Sets
  • Final – Best of 3 Sets

 

Boys Under 14, 16 & 18

  • Till Round of 64 – Best of 13 Games
  • Till Round of 32 – Best of 15 Games
  • Till Quarters – Best of 17 Games
  • Semi Finals & Final – Best of 3 Sets

Mens, Womens & Other Senior Events

  • Qualifying All Rounds – Best of 15 Games
  • Main Draw All Rounds – Best of 3 Sets

 

NOTE – Any Qualifying Round for Junior Tournaments should be same format as applicable in the Main Draw First Round.

 

DOUBLES EVENT : (All Junior Events)

  • Till Quarters – Best of 15 Games with no ad
  • Semi Finals – First two short sets with no ad. Final set super tie break
  • Final – First two full sets with no ad. Final set super tie break

DOUBLES EVENT : (Senior Open Events)

  • All matches best of 3 sets. Final set super tiebreak

 

Note – No let rule will be applied for all junior BTA Ranking events from 1st June, 2018.

VENUES : BTA RANKING TOURNAMENTS


Organizers are permitted to hold matches in only one venue. Holding matches in more than one venue is not permitted, unless there is an emergency-weather conditions, extreme delay in matches etc and in consultation with BTA Supervisor.

COURTS


A minimum of 3 Courts having the same surface is a must for conducting a tournament at the same venue. Tournaments for only two age groups (Either Under 10 / 12 / 14 / 16 / 18) will be held during the week in 3 Courts.

GENERAL RUNNING TOURNAMENTS


A Player would be allowed to take part in 2 singles events and one doubles event all together, in a tournament which involves more than one age group. This would be two Singles and One Doubles match. A player is not allowed to participate in One Singles and Two Doubles Events. If a player is playing an AITA tournament & BTA tournament in the same week at the same venue, he would also then be allowed to play 2 singles and one doubles event. If a player withdraws, gives walk over or concedes from an BTA or AITA tournament held at the same week at the same venue where a BTA Ranking Tournament is been held, he will be automatically out of the BTA Ranking Tournament for that week. All Under 10, Under 12 & Under 14 BTA Ranking Matches, except the sanctioned Floodlit BTA Ranking Tournament, has to be scheduled latest at 8-30 pm. No matches to be scheduled after 8-30 pm of either the above mentioned events. At least 3 balls must be used per match. Sign In has to be done two days before the start of the tournament. (I.e. if Saturday tournament starts sign in should be on Thursday). Chair Umpire is compulsory from semi final onwards of all junior events and main draw of all senior open events. Under 10 tournaments must be run with chair umpire for all matches to guide the kids to understand the point system. Organizers also have to send the mail of the Match Schedule previous day by 5 pm latest to be uploaded in the BTA Website. No Under 12 Players is allowed to play Under 18 event. No Under 14 Players is allowed to play Men's & Women's events.

Boys Under 10 to use Green Tennis Balls (ITF Approved) – Presently available with Head
